The Swedish womens team also managed to get the gold medal. By defeating Team Czech Republic with the score 4-3 they could defend the Swedish gold from the last championship. The spectators selected number 16 Malin Eriksson as the best player in the home team Sweden and the goalkeeper number 71 Daniela Kreisingerova in the away team Czech Republic.
